Director Shinohara Tetsuo and star Yamazaki Masayoshi team up for the first time in 22 years (since One More Time, One More Chance) for this adaptation of a mystery novel by Yokoyama Hideo. 

Makabe Shuichi (Yamazaki) is a professional thief who sneaks into people’s homes as they sleep in the dead of night. However, after unwittingly stumbling upon an attempted murder during a routine break-in, Makabe finds himself recalling something that happened decades previously, the memory of which he’d entirely supressed.
