Founded by writer and curator Awa Konaté, CAS is a research platform that intersects art theory, critical studies and archival practices to explore the cultural economy of archives, focusing on the ‘forgotten’ or ‘unknown’ of Africa and its wider diaspora. The project combines Konaté’s interests in literature, cinema and visual art and features live poetry on Wednesdays at 4pm.
