The publication Recipes for Resistance, produced by Raju Rage, includes poetry, articles, illustrations and recipes from Raisa Kabir, Sabba Khan, Queer Masala, Nandini Moitra, Zarina Muhammad, Raju Rage, YSK Prerana, Vijeta Kumar, Edible Archives and WAH! Womxn Artists of Colour. The publication is part of a wider project that started as a zine, exploring the politics of food and its relationship to culture, coloniality, migration, adaptability and resilience.

The director of the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose at UCL, Professor Mariana Mazzucato, is here in conversation with Christiane Amanpour about reimagining the economy after Covid-19. Mariana speaks about how governments and businesses must work together towards a more inclusive, sustainable and equitable society, and have a general look around the institute’s website as it does some truly remarkable work.

The Venice Biennale’s Russian Pavilion has moved online and, among other interesting projects currently screening, I wish to single out this seriously marvellous film – a sinuous, idyllic feature focusing on six teenagers and their fleeting lives within a non-existent country.

From 5 June, Help Musicians opens the second phase of its Coronavirus Financial Hardship Funding. From the UK charity’s reserves, support will be offered to self-employed musicians facing financial difficulty and struggling to make ends meet during this ongoing crisis.
