‘Say make me, remake me. You are free to do it and I am free to let you because look, look. Look where your hands are. Now.’
– Toni Morrison, Jazz

The Black Curriculum leads a study group on Toni Morrison’s novel Jazz, considering connections to music and photography and the image in Morrison's writing. This focus heeds the interdisciplinary nature of Morrison’s work.
The Black Curriculum is an organisation rectifying the lack of taught Black British history by creating and disseminating an original curriculum encompassing history, culture and environmental science to young people around the UK, with a strong emphasis on teaching through creative forms.
