Artists’ Film Club
Institute of Contemporary Arts

Artists’ Film Club is a recurring programme dedicated to the screening and discussion of moving image works by visual artists and those who work on the fringes of moving image practice. Forming a central part of the ICA's activities since 2009 when the programme was founded, Artists' Film Club is dedicated to supporting artists and the circulation of their work.

Firmly rooted in discourse and debate, moving image screenings are regularly accompanied by artist conversations, presentations and dialogue with audiences. Programmes are devised through long-term conversations with artists, and curated for the ICA’s cinema, presenting unique opportunities to see work outside of wide-scale distribution. Many works included in the Artists’ Film Club programme are shown in the UK for the first time, while others may be hard to see or unavailable elsewhere.
