This talk explores key concepts from the exhibition Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World with civil liberties attorney Marta Belcher, writer and programmer Rachel-Rose O’Leary and journalist Nivethan Nanthakumar, with a pre-recorded video contribution* from technologist Balaji Srinivasan. Central to the exhibition is the possibility of new societies and alternate futures built by co-organised communities that are enabled by new technologies.

The talk will be followed by the opportunity for discussion at a drink reception. ‘From Stateless Nations to Planetary States’ is co-hosted by earth.net and the Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web and is presented by ICA in collaboration with KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin in conjunction with a parallel presentation in Berlin of the exhibition Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World
