Penny World Artist Tour
Institute of Contemporary Arts
Penny Goring, Dim Jaw, 1995. Courtesy of the Artist and Arcadia Missa, London

Artist Penny Goring and ICA Curator Rosalie Doubal lead a tour of Penny World, offering personal insights into the exhibition and introducing the work of this London artist and poet.

Penny World is the artist’s first solo exhibition in a public institution and includes a selection of art works from her expansive practice. On display are Goring's vividly coloured paintings and sculptures, self-portraits and drawings, and darkly humorous digital collages and videos. The artist’s poetry is entangled throughout – appearing in titles and stitched onto her fabric sculptures.

A BSL interpreted tour is also available on Wednesday 7 September
