In her second feature film, Mona Zandi Haghighi is inspired by the true story of her aunt’s life. The main character, played by Motamed-Arya, is Shokoo, who decides to bring her elderly ex-husband, Fereydoun, out of a care home to live with her and her husband, Reza, who was once Fereydoun’s best friend. Initially, Fereydoun is reluctant, and Reza feels uncomfortable with him in their home. Shokoo navigates the challenges of caring for the ailing Fereydoun, while all three of them deal with their emotions and memories of their past relationships.

Love, forgiveness, friendship and the complexities of human relationships are at the heart of the film, particularly in the context of an elderly couple reuniting under challenging circumstances.
