In New Tokyo, shape-shifting android Reiko is sent on a cybersexual mission for the Genom Corporation, gathering data from a dizzying succession of erotic encounters. Moving through seven different bodies and countless configurations of desire, Reiko becomes both instrument and experiment as the Genom Corporation works towards a world where sexual pleasure can be downloaded and consumed as data. As Reiko begins to rebel against her programmed purpose, I.K.U. turns its erotic futurism into a story of sexual autonomy and resistance.
