Klassiki in partnership with Samizdat Film Festival and Manipulate Festival present a programme of gems of Eastern European animation. These range in style and age from a pristine new restoration of the great classic of Azeri animation Jirtdan (1969), to rarely screened masterpieces from Czechia such as Jan Švankmajer’s Dimensions of Dialogue (1982) and Jiří Trnka’s The Hand (1965), and premieres of fabulous new animations such as 2022’s Money and Happiness by directors Nikola Majdak Jr. and Ana Nedeljković from Serbia.
