Liam (Mo Chara) and Naoise (Móglaí Bap) are best friends who grew up together, learning Irish from Naoise’s dad (Michael Fassbender). Fast forward and they’re now young men, increasingly frustrated by a society that tells them to speak English and abandon their native tongue. After meeting JJ (Dj Próvai), the trio form a hip-hop group, rapping in Irish and recording music that soon acts as a lightning rod for Irish language rights in Northern Ireland.

Director Rich Peppiatt’s remarkable feature debut is a fictionalised retelling of the story of the real-life trio of the same name.
Please note that as a part of National Cinema Day, all tickets for the screening on Sat 31 Aug will be £4
