One Year, One Night
Institute of Contemporary Arts
One Year, One Night (Un año, una noche), dir. Isaki Lacuesta, Spain / France 2021, French, Spanish with English subtitles, 130 min.

Ramón and Céline are a young couple that attended a concert at the Bataclan theatre in Paris on the fateful night of November 13, 2015. They survive the attack, but when they leave the theatre, they are no longer the same.

Adapted from the testimony of Spanish Bataclan survivor Ramón Gonzalez, One Year, One Night is an intensely empathetic work from filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta.
Catalan cinema arrives at the ICA with the Gaudí Cycle. This film exhibition circuit, coordinated by the Catalan Film Academy, continues its international expansion thanks to the Institut Ramon Llull. Films that exemplify the vitality and diversity of Catalan cinema, and that have been shown at festivals worldwide, can now be viewed in London. From March to August, each month you can enjoy a film selected by a committee of experts based on quality, plurality, and cultural relevance.
