Named for the Christopher Street Pier, a longtime hub for young gay people in Manhattan, Pier Kids interrogates the meaning of community among at-risk LGBT young people of colour in an attempt to understand what it means to be young, black and queer in New York today – 50 years after the Stonewall riots.
