This documentary short dance film is based on Gizem Aksu’s spectral friendship with Sinti-Roma boxing legend of Germany, Johann Rukeli Trollmann (1907 – 1944) and the intergenerational and intergeographical journey of this friendship.

A short experimental animated film. When the norms, traditions, customs and culture of society are taken as the basis, there are individuals outside of them. These individuals who cannot adapt to the existing order are labeled ‘misfit’.

Fragments of a passionate yet tumultuous relationship. Roger and Ivy love each other but their relationship, ostracised and rejected by society, comes to an end.
