PREVIEW The Zone of Interest + Q&A with Mica Levi
Institute of Contemporary Arts
The Zone of Interest, dir. Jonathan Glazer, UK, Poland, USA 2023, Polish, German with English subtitles, 105 mins, 12A

The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp.

Winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes and loosely inspired by the 2014 novel of the same name by Martin Amis, the latest film from filmmaker Jonathan Glazer (Under the Skin, Birth) is a chilling and oblique examination of the Holocaust, and the capacity for indifference in the face of atrocity.

This preview screening is followed by a Q&A with musician and composer Mica Levi, hosted by artist and curator Taddeo Reinhardt.

More screenings from 2 February.
Mica Levi is a musician and composer born in Guildford and living in South East London. They have written music for films including Under The Skin (2014, dir. Jonathan Glazer), Jackie (2016, dir.
