Sadie Frost makes her directorial debut with this lively and affectionate film chronicling the life and career of one of Britain’s most influential fashion designers.
Mary Quant’s innovative, affordable and accessible fashion defined Swingin’ London in the 1960s: emboldening female empowerment, shaping the look of a generation, and making the Blackheath-born designer a household name at home and abroad. Blending striking reenactments with extensive archive footage and contributions from the likes of Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, Edward Enninful, Dave Davies, Charlotte Tilbury and Zandra Rhodes, Quant captures a moment in pop-culture history while paying the designer her proper due as both a pioneer and an icon.
