TRANSFORMATION is the third screening in the Late Tapes series; an exploration of fetishistic desire, curated by Content Warning aka. Helena and Harlan Whittingham in collaboration with the Bishopsgate Institute’s UK Fetish Archive.

Experience a range of kinky transformations and different changes of state, including pet-play, objectification, and a range of fantastical creatures, as we take a look at some of the delicacies tucked away in the UK Fetish Archive.

This screening contains scenes from kink and fetish VHS tapes ranging from the '80s to the early '00s and will be presented in VHS format.

Programme duration: 60 min.
Helena Kate Whittingham is a frankly lusty woman with criminal sartorial taste. She has a deep and multifaceted experience of working with The Erotic, and due to her innate ability to connect people has honed a speciality of talent management within the Sex realm with her company Lover Management LTD. Prior to this, she was the assistant curator at VITRINE (London and Basel) until 2019.

Harlan Whittingham is an artist and curator based in Leeds who works primarily with video. They have screened work at galleries including The Whitworth (Manchester), Humber Street Gallery (Hull), and The Tetley (Leeds), and have co-run artist-led spaces including The Institute of Jamais Vu (London), and À CÔTÉ DU 69 (Nantes).

The UK Leather and Fetish Archive is dedicated to documenting and celebrating the history and heritage of the leather, rubber, kink, BDSM and fetish community in the UK.

The Archive started in 2016 with the deposit of the records of numerous gay/bi male UK leather clubs and has since expanded to hold the archives of organisations, clubs and individuals of all sexualities, gender identities and kink persuasions. We also hold an extensive collection of books, pamphlets and magazines documenting UK fetish history from the early 1900s to the present day.
