Jonas Mekas said of Flaming Creatures: ‘This movie will be called pornographic, degenerate, homosexual, trite, disgusting, etc., home movie. It is all that, and it is so much more than that.’ A work of rare visual intensity, every frame of Flaming Creatures is a celebration of the beauty of DIY filmmaking.

Accompanied by two rarely screened shorts: Overstimulated and I Was a Male Yvonne De Carlo.
