GLUE 2026
Join Ibrahim Azab in building re-imagined cityscapes. In teams and as individuals, participants will build 3D structures from flat images whilst re-composing Capital landscapes.
Through a series of practical exercises, participants will be introduced to the tools and techniques used to construct simple paper structures. Beginning with a demonstration of basic cutting, folding and mounting methods using kraft board, participants will create and photograph two to three variations of a single structure, exploring form, composition and documentation.
The workshop will then move on to combining individual structures into paired compositions, with time to experiment through making and photography. The session concludes with a collaborative "Buckaroo"-style building exercise, where participants will work together to create a collective sculptural structure.

Bio
Ibrahim Azab, a London-based artist and curator, shifts between sculpture, photography, sound and text. Ideas of process, production, and information form the centre of Azab’s practice, whilst surrounding research of his work investigates the relationship between the subconscious and ideological spaces. Significantly, Azab's work explores materiality through digital and physical intervention of objects and images by cutting and remixing industrial surfaces.
