ICA is closed from the 30 May – 3 June inclusive.
This talk explores some of the key concepts from the exhibition Christopher Kulendran Thomas: Another World, with the artist joined on video by technologist Vitalik Buterin. Central to the exhibition is the possibility of new societies and alternate futures built by co-organised communities that are enabled by new technologies.
Buterin (creator of the Ethereum blockchain), is a leading thinker on decentralised technologies. Together he and Kulendran Thomas introduce earth.net, a new project bringing together collaborations across art, architecture and technology to build shared tools for cooperative economies.
The event will be accompanied by the opportunity for discussion and will be followed by music in the ICA Bar.
