New Syntax is a programme of live activations taking place in Channel B between October 2021 – January 2022. Creating a future archive of Black counterculture, New Syntax hosts contributions from performers, live musicians and artists working with electronic music, sound and movement.

Committed to experimental forms of exhibition-making, Nine Nights invites audiences and artists to use the installation space as a site for interaction, dancing and making.

MikeQ is one of the leading figures of the US’s long-running ballroom/vogue house culture. Based in New Jersey, he heads up ballroom culture’s first record label Qween Beat, which hosts the monthly House of Vogue parties in Brooklyn. MikeQ scored the film Kiki, and appeared as a DJ on HBO Max’s Legendary and Season 3 of Pose.
