Is any story ever the full truth? Can the same truth ever be recounted twice? Here, six shorts challenge the delineation of documentary and fiction, reminding us that there are even more sides to a story than there are voices to tell them.

Some stories are being told for the first time - mythologies of experience and the self, rewriting the past in order to reclaim it. A young trans woman shares her journey of self-discovery and transition; three masked figures relive traumatic relationships via dramatic reenactment.

Other stories will play tricks of the light. A bear haunts an Italian village in the mountains, inspiring fear and awe in spite of never once being seen. Two boys exploit a local kid for a newsworthy film project. Dive in, and see it to believe it.
