How do we respond to the daily rhythms that shape our lives and resonate within us?

All life produces, and is governed by, rhythm. A heartbeat, a pattern, a flow.

A sound artist disintegrates into a sonic fever dream of manufactured rhythm. In reconstruction, the flow of the natural world twists into the uncanny. Reinterpreted observational footage reveals the intrinsic freedom in the movements of autistic children. In a mesmeric dance of hands weavers mending fishing nets merge with the sea. A group of scavengers reap the riches offered by the currents of time. And when all is said and done, it is only the flowers to bear witness to the ticking of time.

A programme of new UK and international documentary short film, curated by the LSFF Programme team.
