Camila Santana has been cast as pregnant teenager Ramona in the new film by Victoria Linares Villegas. To prepare for shooting, they interview young women about pregnancy and motherhood. Soon the research becomes the story itself as these young women’s discussions begin to shape Ramona’s narrative, creating an affirming meditation on girlhood, motherhood and the power of collaboration.
