Unsound London: Night Two

The second night of Unsound at ICA pairs ambient electronics with reimagined medieval music and an exclusive audiovisual collaboration, featuring Portland duo Visible Cloaks, Ukrainian artists Heinali and Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko, and Giant Claw with Julek ploski.

Visible Cloaks join forces with Poland’s Hashtag Ensemble for special live interpretations of Paradessence, inspired by Japanese environmental music (kankyō ongaku).

Ukrainian artists Heinali and Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko make their UK debut with Гільдеґарда, reimagining the compositions of 12th-century mystic Hildegard von Bingen through modular synth, voice, medieval music and Ukrainian folk traditions. The work was also released on the Unsound label.

For CONTROL FREAK, Keith Rankin aka Giant Claw teams up with Warsaw-based experimental artist Julek ploski for an exclusive Unsound audiovisual commission.
