The Institute of Contemporary Arts is located between Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street and Piccadilly Circus in the heart of central London and easily accessible by public transport and bike.

By tube:
The nearest stations are Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus.
From Charing Cross: Follow signs for Trafalgar Square, pass through Admiralty Arch onto The Mall. We are approximately 50 metres along on the right-hand side.
From Piccadilly Circus: Head down Lower Regent Street to Waterloo Place. The entrance is at the bottom of the Duke of York Steps on your left.
By overground rail:
The nearest train station is Charing Cross.
By bus:
There are many bus stops around Trafalgar Square (no bus services operate on The Mall itself).
By bicycle:
Bike racks are available at the top of the Duke of York Steps. A London Cycle Hire docking station is located behind the ICA.

There is no parking on The Mall, but passengers can be dropped off at the main entrance.
Metered parking is available in Waterloo Place and Carlton House Terrace. Nearby car parks can be found on Whitcombe Street and Spring Gardens.

During high-profile events such as state visits, there is usually a large police presence on The Mall, Carlton House Terrace and Waterloo Place.
Additional closures may occur beyond the regular daily closure of all park roads between 10:30–11:50am on days when the Guard changes.
Changing of the Guard typically takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 10:45am. It does not occur during major events.
