3x Lynch: Lost Highway
Institute of Contemporary Arts
A blonde woman and a young man stare into each other's eyes, mysteriously
Lost Highway, dir. David Lynch, USA 1997, 134 min., English, 18

A jazz musician, tortured by the notion that his wife is having an affair, finds himself framed for her murder while, in a parallel story, a young mechanic is drawn into a web of deceit by a woman, cheating on her gangster boyfriend. But a mysterious turn of events might connect the two stories.

To celebrate the release of the brand new 4K restoration of David Lynch’s Inland Empire, the ICA is presenting a trio of Lynch’s most striking visions. Beginning with the labyrinthine nightmare of Inland Empire and journeying back to the descending mysteries of Lost Highway and the haunting black and white images of Eraserhead.
