In a poor Iranian village, children work hard to support their families. One day, on their way home from work, nine-year-old Yahya and his friend Leyla find an Oscar statuette, dropped in the desert by the local postman. As the authorities search for the lost treasure, Yahya’s boss Nasser Khan (Reza Naji), moved by his passion for cinema and memories of his former life as a renowned actor, decides to help the children find its owner.
