Winner of the Grand Prix in international competition at FIDMarseille, Austrian filmmakers Lilith Kraxner and Milena Czernovsky’s second feature bluish follows two women in their twenties, Errol and Sasha, through a series of drifting vignettes. Through the filmmakers ambiguous approach to character and storytelling, their quotidian moments, at home alone and in public, blend and overlay reality with performance, describing an aching state, and a meditation on identity.
