Term 1
Institute of Contemporary Arts

Term 1: Photographic and Self-Publishing Practices with Nathaniel Telemaque will explore the role visual arts can play in collaborative creative practices; it will also facilitate dialogues that center what it means to be a visual artist in contemporary society. This term will focus on introducing attendees to a variety of visual art techniques, primarily engaging with photographic and self-publishing practices, and examining sequencing, editing and visual storytelling activities.

Nathaniel Télémaque is your friendly neighbourhood, Visual Artist, Writer and Researcher. He is also a Lecturer in Geography and Social Justice at King’s College London. His practice is characterised by his use of analogue photography, film and self-publishing activities that have seen him release different series of photobooks and zines.
