Lex Records present $ilkMoney’s debut UK headline show, with support from Chuck Strangers, Fly Anakin and Quelle Chris.

$ilkMoney is a rapper and producer who emerged from Richmond, VA’s underground rap scene in the mid-2010s, known for his distinctive vocal style and experimental production choices. After gaining attention through collaborative projects, $ilkMoney embarked on a solo career that established him as an idiosyncratic voice in contemporary hip-hop. His critically acclaimed solo projects, including I Hate My Life And I Really Wish People Would Stop Telling Me Not To (2018), and I Don’t Give A Fuck About This Rap Shit, Imma Just Drop Until I Don’t Feel Like It Anymore (2022), showcase his unique blend of psychedelic sounds, offbeat humor, and raw lyricism.

His latest record, Who Waters the Wilting Giving Tree Once the Leaves Dry Up and Fruits No Longer Bear?, was released on Lex in July 2025. $ilkMoney has collaborated with Quelle Chris, Fly Anakin and Pink Siifu, and built a dedicated following through his unconventional approach to hip-hop.

Fly Anakin approaches his craft in a way few contemporaries can. Described by Madlib as “one of the illest MCs,” the Mutant Academy cofounder was known for his razor-sharp lyrics, ear for soulful production, and collaborative synergy well ahead of his acclaimed solo debut, Frank (2022). After years of consistent releases with his collective, Anakin broke major ground in 2020 with his and Pink Siifu’s joint project FlySiifu’s. A student of the East Coast’s golden age, Anakin transmutes its spirit into music that’s both classicist and pioneering. Having worked with the likes of Freddie Gibbs, redveil, BbyMutha, and MAVI, Anakin has cemented his place as a leader in rap’s underground Renaissance.

Chuck Strangers is a Brooklyn-born, LA-based rapper and producer. He got his start as a co-founder of trailblazing NYC collective Pro Era alongside Joey Bada$$ before establishing himself as a solo MC. A decade into his career, Glory Of The King’s Hand represents Chuck’s evolved sound with an emphasis on songcraft and composition. Chuck brings together vocalists, producers, and musicians to curate a holistic vision. “I made choruses, there's melodies, there's instrumentation … I really tried to just make better songs that are more than just a good verse”.

Unconventional and hard to categorize, producer/lyricist Quelle Chris has created work in several genres, including punk rock, poetry, abstract soul, and instrumental as well as vocal hip-hop. As a beatsmith, he favors lo-fi production methods and oddball samples. Armed with a dark, self-deprecating sense of humor, he pokes fun at himself while addressing serious personal concerns and social issues. Chris has been steadily releasing sharp, accomplished albums since the early 2010s, achieving acclaim with topical albums Guns (2019) and Deathfame (2022), as well as work with Chris Keys and Homeboy Sandman.
