Maddie Ashman is an avant-pop artist, producer and composer with a love for exploring microtonal music in uncanny, illusory yet addictive ways. Working from her own research and tuning systems based on harmonics, she makes alternative pop that finds the feelings caught in the cracks between the notes. Restoring ideas found in classical music and bringing them into the present; Maddie combines sounds and stories, harmony and dissonance to reflect a deeply human experience.

Sharing her ideas online from her bedroom in North London, she has amassed over 70 million views, 500k followers and a curious, engaged community. Her music has caught the ear of some of the most respected artists working today, from Jacob Collier and Willow Smith to Imogen Heap, Floating Points and Sudan Archives. She has supported key inspirations King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on their European tour, and performed alongside Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams.

Her music moves unapologetically from breakbeats to classical to hocket-riffs to electronic, turning away from the normal, conventional and expected, towards the unspoken, unexpected and 'what if?'s. Her live show carries that into the room: tender, kinetic and enveloping.
Maddie is forging her own path, lighting up a way for others to follow. Where will she take us next?
