Towards an alternative future, speakers will respond to the exhibition’s central questions on the consequences of imperialist exceptionalism and the geopolitics of extraction (whether oil, land, or people).

Highlighting the importance of research as a key part of artistic and creative practice, this discussion brings together internationally acclaimed artists, curators, and academics to reflect on the role of practice research within today’s social, political, and cultural context. Organised in collaboration with Kingston University’s Centre for Practice Research in the Arts (CePRA), ‘Practice Now’ will explore the challenges and opportunities in producing new knowledge and change through creative research in its multiple forms
