Bill Callahan - Residency
Institute of Contemporary Arts

We are thrilled to welcome Bill Callahan to the ICA this September for a 4-night residency. He will be joined by Jim White on drums.

One of the finest singer-songwriters to emerge from the indie rock scene of the late '80s, Bill Callahan uses the images of the American West in ruggedly thoughtful ways that speak to the present as well as the past.

With support from Jerry David DeCicca.

Jerry David DeCicca is a songwriter/record-maker and vocational rehabilitation provider. He’s also produced albums for Ed Askew (Tin Angel Records), Bob Martin (Worried Songs), Will Beeley (Tompkins Square), Chris Gantry & Larry Jon Wilson (Drag City), and worked on reissue projects for Numero Group. He lives in the rural town of Bulverde, TX with his two dogs, three cats, five toads, and wife. His previous band, The Black Swans, released 5 albums and toured for 10 years.

Co-presented by ICA and Eat Your Own Ears.
