With an idiosyncratic sound that is at once sardonic and yet intensely poignant, Famous have developed a reputation as one of the most exciting and unconventional live acts on the London underground circuit. Playing shows with artists as diverse as black midi, Sports Team, Mica Levi’s Good Sad Happy Bad, GAIKA, PC Music’s GFOTY as well as supporting Black Country, New Road on a full UK tour, Famous has placed itself at the centre of a new generation of boundary-pushing UK music. Their ambitious debut EP, ‘England’, came out in May 2019 on London label untitled (recs) (Jerskin Fendrix, deathcrash, TAAHLIAH, Horsey) to critical acclaim. Their sophomore EP, ‘The Valley’ is out now.
