Keeley Forsyth presents her 3rd studio album The Hollow out 10 May on 130701/FatCat Records. Building on the stripped back aesthetic of Debris (2020) and Limbs (2022), Forsyth returns with ferocious and tender vocals that shape her statement string arrangements, thudding drums, kinetic hits, and filmic synthesisers.
Described by Pitchfork as an ‘arid and beautiful debut’, by Uncut as ‘astonishing’ and The Sunday Times as ‘one of the most remarkable in years’, the reception of Keeley’s debut album Debris was then confirmed when she conjured Limbs. Both drew unanimous critical praise prompting comparisons with Nico, Nick Cave, Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Aldous Harding, Anohni and even Scott Walker.
Forsyth’s live return – and her FatCat debut – is bound to once again bewitch audiences and critics with the raw beauty of her soundcraft.
