Maite de Orbe and OPerformancef present the second edition of BELIEF SYSTEMS, a monthly work-in-progress performance series in the ICA Studio.
BELIEF SYSTEMS brings artists together to share space, offering an intimate environment to test ideas in front of a small audience, followed by reflection and collective thinking. It is an open setting for conversations around making work, the current artistic landscape, and the belief systems that shape how we live. Through creativity as a tool for resistance, these sessions ask how we might generate new rituals of connection.
The series forms part of Maite de Orbe's ongoing research into rituals, belief systems and community building through their wider project, MOMOSTAR.
