PULSE
Photography and Expanded Authorship
Institute of Contemporary Arts

Book tickets

In this iteration of PULSE, Myles Bailey and Hayleigh Longman extend an open invitation into their shared creative thinking. Having previously shared a studio space, the artists discovered a kinship within their parallel photo-therapeutic practices.

Building on this collaborative foundation, the workshop asks what unfolds when an audience is welcomed directly into that process. Through live experimentation, participants are invited to step behind the lens, prompting and shaping playful responses to the space.

Using conversation, text, photography and audience interaction, the session becomes a testing ground, exploring how we respond to a temporary environment and what those responses reveal about feeling, connection and authorship.
Bios
