Narrated from the perspective of desert winds that blow over Iran, this colonial-style film was shot by French filmmaker and board game designer Albert Lamorisse. Mostly, it is the helicopter’s propellers stirring the wind, but birds-eye views of Iran are sure to bewitch viewers. Indeed, the film is not only bewitching, but also inevitably bewitched: Lamorisse died in a helicopter crash before the film’s completion.
