Join us for ICA Creatives: Rift, a celebration of the work created by the next generation of artists and cultural voices, as they take over the ICA for a final event.

Over the past year, ICA Creatives have worked with the Diasporas Now Collective, using the ICA as a space of experimentation, collaboration and exchange. Through artist-led workshops, the group have explored writing, image-making, movement and performance. Engaging with questions of identity, community, storytelling and cultural production, they developed projects that reflect their perspectives, experiences and creative practices while responding to urgent cultural, political and social concerns.

Rift is a showcase and a collective expression of the ideas, conversations and work that developed throughout the Young Artist Programme. Bringing together work across disciplines, Rift suggests a rupture, an opening up or a new way of thinking, celebrating the creative possibilities that emerge through new voices and creative practice.

The takeover includes performances, workshops, talks and an exhibition in the Upper Gallery. Featuring film and video works, installations, sculpture and photography, the exhibition is open from 2 to 8 July.
